Chocolope Seeds

1st year growing this strain, not as big as my Blueheadband but smells amazing

I received your Chocolope seeds as a free promotion with a regular Seedbank order. Figured I’d toss them into the outdoor mix and treat them like my own children.
Well they took off like gangbusters and seemed to really like the blazing summer heat of upstate NY. I grew them in 7 gallon buckets of compost soil and vermiculite. They are fast growing during vegetation then slowed down during budding. Really dense and swollen buds.
One of them was massive and in fact was so big it contained a sparrow’s nest and I never even saw it. The birds did fine by the way, although I suspect the baby Sparrows were a bit loopy on their maiden flight.
I used miracle grow regular and then MG bloom booster. Nothing fancy and they were often sprayed for bugs and mold; none of which occurred.
I harvested about 1 and 1/2 pounds dry from each plant. It is very strong and makes great rosin when squished freshly cured at about 60% humidity. Extra Tasty.
It also rolls mean joints and burns evenly and true. I use it in my bubbler as well, and it’s super sticky, so I grind it for those heady applications.
It is really kind shit. Nice work Seedbank. You guys always do my crop justice.

The plants being grown in different medians (soils and solutions) and produce dramatically different flowers, stems and buzz.
The first batch was pretty good that aged like wine over a few weeks of curing. There was just so much I reserved some for later and the difference was boggling.
Choc went from a high CBD type body buzz to an extremely potent euphoric brain high.
The batches also looked different from one another, some being mutated in a bad way and others having orange hairs and some having blood red hairs and all smelled and smoked different.
This leads me to the conclusion that perhaps they were not of the same strain. Yield was minimal with 36 grams average per medium plant indoor. Not great but I’ve learned the culprits involved and have eliminated them from the cycle. Damn you tap water lol. Chlorine is very bad and tap water at a 7.2-7.4 ph hinders yield and photosynthesis dramatically.
Overall the Choc is fantastic with a citrus smell and floral notes and a fairly high THC and CBD level around 17-18%, 0.9-1.6% respectively. They like a lot of light

Popped this free Chocolope seed and bam it’s the star of the show.

Got 3 free seeds of chocolpe w/my 1st order, only popped 1 and I'm about 2 harvest. So far it is looking, and smelling on point!!!
