This AK-47 Fast Flowering strain was created by crossing our best AK-47 plants with an AK-47 auto-flowering hybrid. The exact cross is a blend of Columbian, Thai, and Mexican sativa with Afghani indica and Ruderalis genetics. Ak-47 has been enjoyed for almost thirty years and has now become available in this faster flowering version of the original highly potent Dutch hybrid.

Appearance

The flowers still resemble the original Ak-47 with blue-green leaves, and neon green and yellow flowers. Delicate dark rusty red pistils and a sheen of fine silvery crystals decorate the popcorn-shaped buds. Minimal leaf coverage makes Ak-47 an easy strain to manicure that produces very little plant waste when trimming.

Terpenes

The terpenes are piney and sweet with musky ammonia and traces of cherry. Caryophyllene, pinene, myrcene, linalool, and humulene are the primary terpenes responsible for AK’s unique aroma. Growing AK-47 Fast Flowering Seeds

Ak-47 Fast Flowering is best grown indoors in a dry and well-ventilated environment. This variety grows shorter than the original Ak-47, often looking like a miniature or bonsai Christmas tree. Hydroponic systems will generally produce more consistent-sized plants but soil-grown AK always tastes much better. From start to finish this strain takes 8-10 weeks with about 2-3 weeks of vegging as soon as the seeds pop and another 6-7 weeks of full flowering. Outdoor plants will finish in mid-October and can yield about 21oz/plant. Indoor Fast AK yields roughly 17oz/m2. Even though the flowering time is short, due to the high density of the buds, this strain can become affected by molds if the canopy is too dense and not opened up to enough air circulation. Removing the scrappy bottom branches helps to provide energy to the upper buds as well as ensure light and air penetration into the canopy.
